BMW Motorrad India has launched the new 2020 BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS in the Indian market. India is the first country to get the new BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS. The BMW G 310 R is priced at INR 2.45 lakh, while the G 310GS is available at INR 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom). This effectively makes them cheaper than the KTM 390 Duke and 390 Adv in India. The bikes are locally produced in India by TVS Motor Company.
The new BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS now feature a full-LED headlight for even better visibility at night and LED flashing turn indicators and LED brake lights. Both, the clutch lever and the handbrake lever are now adjustable in four stages. The new BMW twins also get a slipper clutch and ride by wire tech.
The new BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS have a newly developed BS-VI engine. The updated 313-cc water-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke fuel-injected engine from the Apache RR310 delivers a similar 34 hp at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 28 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The motorcycles accelerate from 0 – 50 km/hr in just 2.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 143 km/hr. Transmission is a 6-speed gearbox.
The new BMW G 310 R has been launched in the following colors - Cosmic Black, Polar White and ‘Style Sport’ in Limestone Metallic. The new BMW G 310 GS has been launched in the following colors – Polar White, ‘40 years of GS’ Edition in Cosmic Black and ‘Style Rallye’ in Kyanite blue Metallic. BMW Motorrad bikes in India come with a standard warranty for ‘three years, unlimited kilometers.
